Welcome to Hank's Little Free Library!

Hank’s Little Free Library was created in honor of Hank the Frenchie, a beloved brindle pied pup who brought joy, love, and laughter to our family. This library is our way of keeping his spirit alive, by building a place where the community can come together, share, and celebrate both books and the special bond we have with our pets. I have also written a book for him. It’s called “Hank Finds His Forever” I am currently working on the illustrations and once the book is published, there will always be a copy in Hank’s Library!

Here, you’ll find books of all kinds—stories for children, novels, nonfiction, and everything in between. We believe in creating an inclusive space that reflects many viewpoints and invites everyone to read, learn, and grow together. Alongside the books, there are treats, sticks, and balls so our four-legged friends can enjoy a little something too. If you find a book in our library that you do not agree with, that’s okay! leave if for someone else!

To honor the pets you’ve loved and lost, we invite you to decorate a river rock and place it around the library. These small tokens create a living memorial that grows with our community, reminding us of the joy our animals bring into our lives.

Please note, our library is watched over by a camera. This is only meant to keep it safe and cared for—and if you feel like it, you’re welcome to wave or even say a little something to our family! We love seeing people enjoy this little space.

This is more than just a little library. It’s a gathering place, a memorial, and a celebration of community, kindness, and connection—human and canine alike.
